Collection models 29 - 34: Mother and Foal Magic Grooming Sets

Mother and Foal Sets

29. Denver and 30. Bluebell the Rocky Mountain Horses

31. Bracken and 32. Bramble the New Forest Ponies

33. Galway and 34. Fergus the Connemara Ponies

Each set contained mother and foal, matching rugs and shared breed cards. All the ponies had “magic colour change” markings – shark’s teeth quartermarks on Denver and Bluebell, saddle clip on Bracken and Bramble and mud splash on Galway and Fergus. Denver is identical to magazine horse Ludger except for the quarter marks.

Thank you to Helene Bay for the photo of Galway and Fergus!

Collection models 21 & 22: Mother and Foal Family

Mother and Foal Family
21. Rosie and 22. Rosanna, the Morgans
This mare and foal set was released a little later than the others and included two horses, red rugs, red leg bandages, hair braids and beads, a breed card and red heart brush. Old Showtime Stables versions had turquoise rugs with yellow trim.

It's worth noting that these horses often look dark brown rather than black due to the plastic they were made from.

Collection models 10-13: Mother and Foal Collection

Mother and Foal Collection

10. Bianca and 11. Bella the Andalusians

12. Lucia and 13. Laura the Welsh Cobs

*** New photos coming soon! ***

Each set contained a mare and foal, rugs for each, leg bandages for the mothers, breed cards and heart brushes (baby pink/lilac). Both sets were also available as part of the Showtime Stables range – Lucia and Laura had rugs with edging rather than plain purple but Bianca and Bella seem to have been the same.

Thanks to Elli for the photo of Laura!

Later on these sets were advertised with models 21. Rosie and 22. Rosanna, the Morgan Mother and Foal set. This photo shows the models as actually released.

If anyone has a photo of these sets completed, please could we use it for this page? Thank you!
